According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene along with other services. They found the highway blocked by heavy traffic. “Numerous wrecked vehicles were spread out across the scene,” said Meiring. The truck that carried cement lay at the bottom of the embankment on its side.
