Beagle Watch protects primary schools for free

NORTHCLIFF – Security company installs alarms, monitors properties, and provides armed response for primary schools in their areas of operation.

Over the past 11 years Beagle Watch Armed Response has provided security services, free of charge to a number of primary schools within their areas of operation; namely Cliffview Primary School, Northcliff Primary School, Laerskool Fairland and Panorama Primary School.

Not only does Beagle Watch provide these schools with alarm installations, monitoring of properties and armed response, they also post experienced members of staff who assist the schools’ scholar patrols with safety while undertaking their duties during the rush of the morning arrivals and afternoon departures.

These posts are filled by experienced active retired members of the community who want to supplement their income. Reg Lotter, who has overseen this service for the past 11 years, said, “We had a huge response for these positions and now have a great team of dedicated staff to man these posts.”

Beagle Watch founder and managing director, Dave Casey added, “We are committed to keeping our schools safe and are planning to add to this service by offering talks on security and safety issues to the children, teachers, staff and parents.” Further to this, Beagle Watch as part of their continued community involvement has undertaken to offer the same service to other primary schools in their areas of operation.
