Bruce Herbert celebrates the coming of 2016

WARD 99 – Bruce Herbert Ward 126 Councillor is happy that major road works have been completed in the year.

It is hard to believe, and thankfully, 2015 is just about behind us.

This is with all the frustrations and problems experienced with the billing crisis, power outages and now water shortages in large parts of Johannesburg.

On a more positive note, I would like to highlight just a few major improvements and successes we have experienced during the last year: re-surfacing, repainting of lines and new signage of our roads, the erection of new traffic lights, installation of ABC electrical cabling, the installation of new cell phone reception masts and general improvements in the area.

For their effort, I would like to sincerely thank the management of the various municipal-owned entities for their assistance and co-operation in getting these jobs done. Also to our residents, many thanks – especially for your patience and understanding.

On behalf of the ward committee and myself, may I take this opportunity of wishing you, your family and loved ones and all the residents in the Linden constituency a very blessed, peaceful and happy festive season. If you are travelling over the holiday period, I wish you happy holidays and a safe return.

May all our problems of the past twelve months be a thing of the past as we enter the New Year – 2016.
