Water interruption for North Riding and surrounding areas

NORTH RIDING – Joburg water has announced a planned water cut for North Riding and surrounding areas on 28 October.

Johannesburg Water has announced water interruptions in North Riding and surrounding areas on 28 October. Eleanor Mavimbela, the external communications officer for Johannesburg Water  (JW), said that the water interruptions were to replace a valve.

She added that the water cuts would last from 8am until 6pm. She pointed out that the suburbs that would be affected were Northwold, Bloubosrand, North Riding, Northgate and Kya Sand.

“Water tankers will be placed around the areas throughout the day,” she said. Mavimbela added that residents will find the water tankers at Bellairs Drive, Blandford Road, Hyperion Drive, BP garage Kya Sand, Agulhas Road and at the British school of Intelligence.

“Johannesburg Water would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused during this disruption,” Mavimbela said.
