EFF plans a march for economic freedom

Julius Malema to lead a big economic freedom march

EFF is preparing for their big march to be held at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown on 27 October.

The party’s Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema addressed hundreds of people in Zandspruit on 24 October about the planned march.

At the meeting, Malema voiced his concern about the ongoing students protests across the country and how the lack of economic freedom can affect the whole nation.

Malema said it is time South Africans claim their economic freedom.

The Gauteng spokesman Ntobeng Ntobeng said they are marching for economic freedom and they plan to stop at different financial institutions and its stakeholders.

“We are starting with the JSE followed by the Chamber of Mines before proceeding to other financial sectors,” said Ntobeng Ntobeng.

He said Malema will be in charge of the march.

“This is a national march and we are expecting over 50 000 marchers from across the country,” said Ntobeng Ntobeng
