Sophiatown Community Policing Forum chairperson Tully Michaels was allegedly victim to crime, during a crime awareness walk hosted by the MEC of Community Safety in Kathrada Park on 8 October.
Brazen criminals allegedly broke into her car parked on the street in Kathrada Park during a walk hosted by MEC Sizakele Nkosi–Malobane.
The walk was one of several events hosted by Nkosi–Malobane in light of numerous incidents of crime reported in the area recently.
The MEC, Sophiatown Police and residents were inside the park during the alleged theft.
