Audiences can look forward to a spectacular ballet show, the Sean Bovim’s Private Presley – A Salute to the King, for the first time in the City.

The popular musical dance show, Private Presley, is staged by the Bovim Ballet in association with The CoLab Network at the Nelson Mandela Theatre in Braamfontein.

According to the creator Sean Bovim, this will be the third season of the show since it was created in 2013, but the first time that the public has a chance to see the show outside Cape Town.

“We are excited and proud that we will be performing Private Presley: A Salute to the King at the Joburg Theatre,” he said.

The 14 show performances will be accessible from 9 – 25 October.

Bovim believes that in these difficult and challenging times, it is vital that people are able to go to theatres for a night’s entertainment and feel uplifted by the experience.

Bovim said the show has a rock-‘n-roll ballet theme, that juggles full-speed, fun and energetic group dance.

The show runs for two hours and 10 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.

Collett Dawson of The CoLab Networt said pensioners will get ticket discounts.
