Mandela’s grandson arrested for raping a 15-year-old girl
GREENSIDE – Nelson Mandela’s grandson is arrested following rape allegations.
Nelson Mandela’s grandson Mbuso Mandela was arrested following charges of rape.
He is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl inside one of the toilets at a restaurant in Greenside on 7 August.
The 24-year-old was arrested over the weekend afterwards, when the teenager opened a case against him.
Gauteng spokesperson Brigadier Mashadi Selepe confirmed that the accused was arrested and charged.
“Mbuso Mandela appeared briefly at the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court on 17 August, however his case is postponed to 21 August for a formal bail application,” said Selepe.
