Man stabbed in Windsor West

WINDSOR WEST - Both police and ambulance were called at 12.45pm, after which Linden police arrived swiftly a few minutes later. At 2.30pm however, the ambulance had still not arrived.

A man was stabbed in the head in an attempted robbery on Princess Avenue in Windsor West today.

Both police and ambulance were called at 12.45pm, after which Linden police arrived swiftly a few minutes later. At 2.30pm however, the ambulance had still not arrived.

Northcliff Melville journalist, Ancillar Mangena, stated that the man was lying in a pool of blood and suffering from severe shock.

The ambulance eventually arrived at 14.40pm.  When asked why they took so long, they said they are not from the area and came from Northgate. They said they had just received the call when they came.
