The news is out: Nu Metro cinemas in KZN will be open seven days a week from this Friday, 23 October until 1 November for the school holidays.

Here are the week’s new movie releases at Nu Metro:

If you missed it at the special pre-release screenings last weekend, no worries: the non-stop, edge-of-your-seat thriller Greenland (from the producer of John Wick) hits Nu Metro cinemas for its official national release from Friday. A family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife, Allison, and young son, Nathan, make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Amid terrifying news accounts of cities around the world being levelled by the cometʼs fragments, the Garritys experience the best and worst of humanity. Experience the action with the power of Cornubia’s larger-than-life Xtreme movie theatre.
