WITH videos of ‘snow’ falling in the Upper Highway area being shared widely across social media this afternoon, many residents have left the comfort of their homes for a chance to see it in person.

A video shared widely across Facebook shows a scene that is allegedly taken in Alverstone at about 14:45, today.

According to the South African Weather Services, the temperature in Hillcrest this afternoon is a chilly 3 degrees Celsius.
