RYAN Reynolds gets lost in some crazy, action-packed and hilarious videogame action this weekend with the release of the #1 US box office hit, Free Guy– at Nu Metro cinemas in KZN from Friday. 

If you missed the special pre-release screenings last Saturday, then take the kids to enjoy the awesome family movie adventure, Paw Patrol: The Movie, this weekend from Friday to Sunday. 

Hugh Jackman also returns with the intriguing futuristic thriller, Reminiscence – from the creator of TV’s “Westworld”. 

And, Bollywood movie fans can look forward to the gripping thriller, Bellbottom.

Here are this week’s new movie releases in Nu Metro’s cinemas in KZN: 

Free Guy (13VL)

Ryan Reynolds is a bank teller, who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game and decides to become the hero of his own story—one he rewrites himself. Now, in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way—before it’s too late. The world needed a hero, but they got a guy in the hilarious new action-comedy, Free Guy

PAW Patrol: The Movie (All ages)

Based on the popular animated series, join the PAW Patrol in their thrilling first Big Screen adventure – PAW Patrol: The Movie. When their biggest rival, Humdinger, becomes Mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts wreaking havoc, Ryder and everyone’s favourite heroic pups kick into high gear to face the challenge head-on! Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW Patrol fights to save the citizens of Adventure City. 

Reminiscence (16LSV)

Nick Bannister (Hugh Jackman), a private investigator of the mind, navigates the darkly-alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories in Reminiscence. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on new client Mae. A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. He must ultimately answer the question: How far would you go to hold on to the ones you love? 

Bellbottom (PG)

Bellbottom is a true-life action thriller that goes back to the 1980s, an era infamous for several heinous airplane hijackings in India. Megastar Akshay Kumar stars as you’ve never seen him before – a RAW agent tasked with bringing a stop to the hijacking plans of a callous gang seeking to take over an Indian plane. This new Bollywood movie will keep you on the edge of your seat, as it tracks one of the most defining moments in Indian history.
