The weekend is here, and Nu Metro is getting ready to treat you to another bumper line-up of pure entertainment.

Sarah Paulson, best known for her iconic turns in TV’s “American Horror Story”, stars in the suspenseful horror thriller Run; while an esteemed ensemble cast heads up the historical drama Six Minutes To Midnight. This weekend’s new releases, combined with all the other box office hits still showing, will keep you entertained with the best in movie magic.

Bookings have just opened for the two big animated family adventure-movies showing in Nu Metro cinemas this December – 100% Wolf and The Croods: A New Age.

Here are this weekend’s new movie releases:

Run (13 DLV)

[Showing at Nu Metro Cornubia Mall and The Pavilion]

Raised in total isolation by her mother (Sarah Paulson), a teenage girl (Kiera Allen) has her life unravel as she discovers her mother’s sinister secret. It’s a thriller packed with nail-biting suspense and moments of pure horror – almost like a modern take on the work of Alfred Hitchcock; a striking “bad mom” horror movie that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat!

Six minutes to midnight (10-12PG V)

[Showing at Nu Metro The Pavilion only]

Based on true events – and starring Judi Dench, James DʼArcy, Jim Broadbent and Eddie Izzard – Six Minutes To Midnight is about influential families from Nazi Germany who send their daughters to a finishing school in an English seaside town in 1939. Their objective: to learn the language and be ambassadors for a future-looking National Socialist. If it’s gripping drama with historical clout that you’re looking for, then this is the movie to see in The Pavilion’s luxurious VIP cinema.

WIN: There are six 2D tickets and six 3D tickets up for grabs. Simply fill in the competition form below and click submit. Competition closes on Monday, 23 November at 10am. Winners will be notified on Tuesday, 24 November.
