Two news stars in the Fiat 500 line-up

The Fiat 500 tops the log as the FCA Group’s best-selling model for two years and achieved its best-ever annual sales figures of 194 000 units worldwide during 2018. Over the years the 500 range expanded to include the 500X and 500L models and has seen a variety of derivatives of the original 500. Continuing on this trend, Fiat has added two new variants to the range, the 500 Star and 500 Rockstar. Appealing to a younger market the Star and Rockstar which is based on the traditional Lounge and Sport trim levels receive some additions. On the interior, you will find a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system installed with the Uconnect interface on both variants as standard and allows for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Although the Fiat 500 has offered over 40 exterior colour options to its customers, the Star will see a new ceramic-look mica colour with pink tints added to set itself apart while the 500 Rockstar will come with a new matte green exterior colour option, each developed over 52 weeks. Sportier in nature, the 500 Rockstar sees the addition of a tailored pin-stripe suit inspired central band on the seat covers with eco-leather featuring at the top of the seat. Grey-blue materials are incorporated into the door panels with a variety of matching materials in the interior.

The 500 Star also see exclusive trim added with the option of either white sand and black theme or a new Matelassé finish with details in eco-leather and an embroidered 500 logo. Both new derivatives are available in either hatchback or cabriolet body styles and each features unique 16-inch wheels. Under the bonnet, you will find Fiat’s TwinAir, turbocharged, two-cylinder 875cc motor which is capable of 62.5 kW and 145 N.m of torque. Fiat promises a frugal 4L/100km on a combined cycle.

Warranty
The Fiat 500 Star and Rockstar models come standard with a three-year/100 000km warranty.
