Classic blast to captivate audiences

The programme will be varied to include favourite classics and some contemporary jazzy items.

THE KZN Youth Orchestra will perform their first public concert for this year,  ‘Classic Blast-Musical Maneuvers in Musgrave,’ on Friday, 17  February 17, at DHS in St Thomas Road, Morningside, at 6.30pm and will be joined by the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra. This is the first time in a decade that the two orchestras will perform together.

Both orchestras will perform separately and then join together to create one large orchestra of over 100 people. The programme will be varied to include favourite classics and some contemporary jazzy items to show off the versatility of modern orchestras.

Tickets cost R40 and a discount of R30 will be offered for pensioners and scholars respectively and will be available at the door 45 minutes before the concert.  For more information, contact Cathy on 082 349 8362.
