THE time has come for comedian Dusty Rich to say goodbye to his home country as he moves to Australia to kick-start his international comedy career. But not before going back to where it all started and treating his Durban fans to one last epic comedy showdown – a little something to remember him by.
The Dusty Rich Farewell Show is presented by On Fire Comedy and will see the funnyman himself doing what he does best at the Durban Jewish Club on Wednesday, 15 June (Thursday is Youth Day).
He will be joined by some of his favourite Durban comedians – Darren Maule, Carvin Goldstone, Neil Green, Jem Atkins and Masood B. Dusty Rich toured toured the country with Trevor Noah from 2012 to 2015.
Rich had his own half-hour special on TV’s Comedy Central and is currently booked to perform on the first ever season of “Comedy Central Roast Battles”. Hundreds of thousands watched him perform on 2015’s “White Christmas” Comedy Special which aired on MNET.
From humble beginnings in Durban, Dusty Rich has grown into a comedy force to be reckoned with. The show kicks off at 8:30pm and tickets are R150 per person and available at Computicket.
