IF you’ve never visited the Morning Trade – Durban’s weekly artisan food and produce market, then you don’t know what you are missing. It’s a great morning outing and promises delicious foods and produce. It is held every Sunday from 8am to 1pm at The Plant – 5 Station Drive, Station Drive Precinct, Durban. It’s a great spot to pick up some delicious food and fresh produce, top quality meats, farm fresh ingredients, and is also an uber cool place to meet friends over delicious artisan food and drink. Better still is that entrance is free.

EACH month, uShaka Marine World’s Wahooz on the Promenade Restaurant goes all out to keep you entertained every weekend with live performances, great cocktails and good food. IF you suffer with arthritis then don’t miss the next meeting of the KZN branch of the Arthritis Foundation which will host an informative talk on arthritis – the symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and other useful tips to help you control and manage the disease. The meeting takes place on Saturday 23 April at St Olav Church Hall, St Thomas Road (behind Norwegian Hall) from 9am to 11am. The guest speaker is Trevor Falkson, KZN branch manager, Arthritis Foundation.

The foundation is also hoping to have a dietician and physiotherapist present to discuss treatment for arthritis sufferers. Donations to the Arthritis Foundation will be gladly accepted.

FEELING a little frazzled? Then it’s time to find that inner peace with a little meditation. The Happiness Course, a meditation programme for young and old, is held every Saturday morning at 10.30am to noon at 26 Menston Road, Westville.
