’50 Carat Gold’ – music to rock you

The hits in '50 Carat Gold' have cumulatively dominated the charts for the last 60 years.

DURBAN audiences can brace themselves for 50 of the greatest songs of all time, all wrapped up in one slick production – ’50 Carat Gold’ – which runs at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway from 2 June to 19 July. But the show taking place on Friday, 5 June is dedicated to Allison Harper, who has been living with multiple sclerosis for the past 18 years.

Her daughter, Samantha Dodgen, said the fundraiser was aimed at helping her mother, who lives at Graceland Nursing Home, pay for her living requirements. Tables and seats for the Allison Harper fundraising evening at the Barnyard Theatre Gateway are booked on a first come, first served basis.

To find out how you can support this worthy cause, call Samantha on 031 701 7761 or 082 683 3171, or e-mail her at sam@enertec.co.za. Tickets are R145 per person.

The hits in ’50 Carat Gold’ have cumulatively dominated the charts for the last 60 years, and the show aims to cover the important songs that have made an impact on our lives in this time. They cover it all, from Elvis’s ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ to hits by Rihanna.
