SA comedy legend, Marc Lottering, teams up with Durban star, Masood Boomgaard, in ‘What the Funny’, a night of side-splitting stand-up comedy not to be missed.
Marc Lottering is well-known to SA audiences for his blockbuster hit stage shows, ‘Grootbek’, ‘From the Cape Flats with Love’ and, more recently, ‘This is Captain Lottering Speaking’.
Lottering has also made numerous TV appearances over a career that has stretched over two decades and has appeared internationally with the biggest names in comedy.
Masood is best known for his exploits on the South African comedy circuit, in which he has performed with some of the biggest names around.
He will delve into everyday issues such as cellphone dependence, demonic children, sport teams that disappoint, Julius Malema and lots more.
He will also explore the humorous side of love through his discussions on modern-day dating as compared to the old days, and attempting to answer the mystical question of ‘What women want’.
‘What the Funny’ takes place at the Bat Centre, Wilson’s Wharf in Durban on 29 and 30 May at 8pm.
