MORE than 1.3 billion people are active Facebook users. Each of these users have their own personality, which influences their daily activity. However, many surveys have revealed that there are several highly annoying types of Facebook users that have emerged since the site’s official launch in 2004.
You could be one of these annoying users. Do you identify with one of these?
1.The update addict. We all have this friend. The one that constantly shares his or her day on Facebook, with arbitrary status updates such as, “Just woke up. Having a cup of coffee” or “Having my hair cut. Yay!” According to most surveys the over-share of information the most annoying Facebook habit.
2. The baby bore. The proud parents who constantly post photos and updates about their babies’ (or kids) habits. Typical posts include, “Just burped for the first time” or an embarrassing photo that will come back to haunt the poor child in the future. Most people perceive these users as the second most annoying.
3. The gamer. No, we don’t want to play Farmville or Candy Crush with you. Please stop sending us invites.
4. The drama queen. These are the users that post the attention seeking updates, such as “Feeling sad today” or “How could this have happened?” Other users don’t take kindly to these vague and manipulative posts.
5. The troll. People find users annoying who constantly complain and rant about everyday life, or spew hate in the comments on other people’s status updates.
6. The loved-up romantic. Believe it or not, people don’t want to see constant love-dovey photos, or read about your undying love for your significant other. Keep those messages private. Even if you feel like shouting it from the rooftops.
