Crime continues in Durban North

Despite the Durban North crime fighters meeting to seek an end to the carnage, brazen robbers still strike.

WITH Durban North residents still reeling in shock  from the brutal murder of Stephen Edmonstone, it was another surprise to hear that brazen robbers were still bent on their crime wave. They used an R5 rifle with one of the men standing guard on the verge of  Wedgewood Way property they were robbing. But what made this story all the more shocking was the news that the robbers were in action amidst a meeting that was called urgently by the Community Policing Forum (CPF) to address the crime. The meeting was being held at the Grace Family Church and had a heavy police presence. The robbers allegedly struck 300 metres away from the where the residents and police had gathered.
