Halloween High Tea

The Oyster Box is getting into the swing of Halloween things with a Halloween-inspired High Tea. Each guest will receive a welcome cocktail and mask on arrival and an afternoon of scary surprises is guaranteed.

November

Curry and Comedy with Joe Parker

The Oyster Box’s Curry and Comedy evenings have become a firm favourite on the Durban entertainment calendar. South African born comedy legend, Joe Parker, headlines the next hilarious event on Friday 15 November. The evening includes a three-course curry dinner and the show. Booking is essential.

From West-End to Broadway & Beyond

We’re excited to bring you a Dinner Theatre experience Oyster Box-style in November. In From West-End to Broadway & Beyond, South African/London girl, Cat Simoni, brings you a selection of thrilling showstoppers from the some of the greatest musicals ever written.

December

Curry and Comedy with Ben Voss

Sit back and relax as comedian, Ben Voss, takes you on an hour-long comedic journey of fun and laughter. The three-course menu includes an Indian Snack Starter Platter, a gourmet Prawn and Chicken Bunny Chow with traditional accompaniments and creamed Vermicelli for dessert. Due to the popularity of these evenings, booking is essential.

Carols and Candlelight

Accompanied by the Salvation Army Brass Band and The Oyster Box Choir, embrace the festive season with an informal Carols by Candlelight on the magnificent Ocean Terrace.

Christmas Eve dinner and dance

A sophisticated, six-course festive menu, created by Executive Chef, Kevin Joseph, with live music from the Stuart May Band, guarantees memories and mistletoe moments… on this ‘night before Christmas’.

Tuesday 24 December, 7pm to 10pm, The Grill Room, R1 100 per person.

Christmas day lunch

Each of The Oyster Box’s three dining venues are offering luncheon feasts on Christmas Day. Live music by a selection of Durban’s top entertainers, sparkling wine on arrival and menus to excite and tantalise the tastebuds, are the order of the day in The Grill Room, The Pearl Room and The Ocean Terrace.

Wednesday 25 December, 12pm to 3pm, The Grill Room, R1 490 per person (eight-course menu). The Pearl Room, R1 200 per person (buffet menu). The Ocean Terrace, R1200 per person (buffet menu).

New Year’s Eve bash
