Events at botanic gardens
ENJOY a guided walk in the Forest Garden with horticulturist, Geoff Nichols, on Saturday 12 October at 9.45am registration, to 12pm at the Durban Botanic Gardens.
The cost is R45 each for adults and R35 each for pensioners, youth and members of Friends and includes tea, coffee and muffins.
There will be a Medicinal Herbs and Their Uses Workshop with Karin Makin on Saturday 19 October at 9.15am registration, to 2pm. It will be a hands-on learning experience where you will learn about herbs for composting, companion planting and remedies.
The cost is R150 each for adults and R130 each for pensioners, youth and members of Friends, and includes tea, notes and light refreshments.
Bring hat, water bottle and comfortable shoes. (Herbal products will be on sale).
