Don’t miss out on Deloitte Challenge

The challenge consists of a marathon (42.2km), half marathon (21.1km), Ten-K (10km), fun run (5km) or Road Cycle Race (40km).

THE Deloitte Challenge, now in its fourth year, takes place on Sunday, 18 March in Durban. The series of popular sporting events will give both serious and novice athletes the opportunity to participate, enhance their well-being and tackle personal challenges. The challenge consists of a marathon (42.2km), half marathon (21.1km), Ten-K (10km), fun run (5km) or Road Cycle Race (40km).

All challenges, except for the fun run, take place along the M4 making the route flat and scenic, perfect for all types of athletes. The finish venue for all running challenges is at the Amphitheatre, Durban Promenade whilst the Cycle Race finish is on the M4 on Sandile Thusi Road.

According to organisers, the challenge is the ideal qualifier for the Comrades Marathon. It also offers something for the entire family. Moisture management t-shirts are limited to 7 000 across the 42km, 21km and cycle race.

You can also enter at Durban Runner in Glenwood and Poobie Naidoo in PMB and Ballito. The closing date for entries is on Wednesday, 7 March at midnight.
