Dianne is well on her way thanks to community support

Dianne Kast's friend, Nicky Goodman, thanks all those involved in helping Dianne get back to living a normal life.

THE tickets sales for The Barnyard show in aid of Dianne Kast last week went well. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark Thompson, Angus Parsons, Eric Waldhausen, Colin Abrahams, Cecil from Cecil Foods and Mr B Kakora for assisting me with transport, words cannot express my gratitude . 
Also a huge thanks to a beautiful women of God, Teresa David and her family for sponsoring the wheelchair, we are overwhelmed by your kindness. Dianne calls it her Ferrari. Thank you dear Teresa for being part of making a difference in Dianne’s life. 

To Dr Amish Bhoojrajh (physiotherapist) for sponsoring two sessions of physio for Dianne, To Thas of The Royal Tai Spa, uMhlanga Rocks Drive who has sponsored to pamper Dianne every week and also for making Dianne’s Mother’s Day so special. God bless you.

To Margaret Vanderlingen, public relations officer of  Tape Aids for the Blind and Disabled, who sponsored a CD player and membership to the library. CD’s of the books will be mailed to Dianne monthly. 

To Ian and his staff of Headway Natal, a KZN head injuries association, thank you for giving Dianne a second chance. To Stephanie Reddy, corporate affairs manager of The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway for sponsoring the show, Battle of the Sexes on 15 May.

A warm thank you to Dianne’s family for their patience during the last few weeks, especially her mum who took care of Dianne ever since her sickness. Dianne’s mum, Mrs Paul, is an amazing woman of God; she is an inspiration to all women. Dianne is very fortunate to be blessed with such a wonderful mum. 

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me, during this time. Dianne’s started her first day at Headway on 13 May. She will be attending Headway twice a week; you all made this possible, thank you again all you wonderful people. 

To Northglen News and their team, thank you for your support we could not have done it without you, we still have a long way to go, but you have given us an opportunity to build a foundation for Dianne so we are able to continue to assist her as she takes this journey of recovery.
