Charity golf day in Mount Edgecombe, a success

Numerous businesses supported the charity event recently.

THE South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR) held its annual fundraising golf day at Mount Edgecombe Country Club last Friday. The private and business sector showed up in numbers to support the initiative.

The funds raised from the day will go towards lifesaving interventions to save the lives of those who are in need of bone-marrow transplants.

For thousands of people with leukaemia and other blood and immune disorders, their only chance at surviving is a bone marrow transplant.
