ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the driver of the bike had somehow lost control and collided with a light pole.
“Paramedics from multiple ambulance services worked to try and resuscitate the man, however, his injuries were too severe, and he was declared deceased on the scene,” said Jamieson.
SAPS is investigating further.
