Clean-up underway on the N3 after chemical spill

The clean-up team has advised that the road is expected to be opened this afternoon.

MOTORISTS are urged to use alternative routes as the N3 Durban Bound is still closed from the M7 in Pinetown following a chemical spillage just before the Spaghetti Junction this morning (Friday, June 14).

Reports this morning indicated that a few containers containing the acidic chemicals on a truck fell and ruptured causing a spillage on the major highway.
