Fabulous reads: Paw Patrol inspires little readers

Book review - Paw Patrol: Dive Into Puplantis by Matt Huntley

Paw Patrol: Dive Into Puplantis, Matt Huntley, Farshore, ISBN: 9780008615499

Paw Patrol is currently one of the most popular kids’ television series, so what better way to spark a love of reading than an adventure with these beloved furry characters?

In this edition of the 11-part series, Skye, Chase, Rubble and Ryder come to the aid of the inhabitants of Puplantis after Mayor Humdinger is once again caught being up to no good.

The cute, short story – with beautiful and bright pictures – features some of the most popular of the Paw Patrol characters and teaches little readers about bravery and respecting others’ belongings.

My only complaint would be: Why are cats again teamed up with the bad guys? Anyhoo, this book and the others in the series are perfect for any fans of the animated series. Mariclair Smit – 4/5 stars
