Choir set for carol singing at uMhlanga church

The event promises to get everyone into a festive mood with carols and Christmas songs.

A FEW members of the  Durban Symphonic Choir and Con Vocare will perform Christmas carols and songs at the St Michael’s Anglican Church in uMhlanga on Sunday, December 17.

“We ask that people bring camping chairs, picnic baskets and refreshments,” said Sharon Westcott, one of the organisers of the event.

“Bring your vocal chords with you as well as the audience will be asked to sing along to the more popular carols,” she added.

Some of the carols include The Holy CityO Holy Night, Do You Hear What I Hear, and some beautiful Christmas songs by soloists such as Mary Did You Know, Mary’s Boy Child and The Night Before Christmas.
