THOUSANDS of fans lined Umhlanga Rocks Drive on Saturday to welcome the Springboks on their victory tour through Durban.
A crowd brimming with pride welcomed the victorious team who recently made history by becoming the first team to win the Rugby World Cup four times and only the second to defend the title.
The victory tour is a gesture of appreciation for the millions of South Africans who unwaveringly supported the team throughout the Rugby World Cup tournament.
KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government and eThekwini Municipality thanked residents who came out to celebrate the momentous occasion and to paint the streets of Durban green and gold during the Durban leg of the Webb Ellis Trophy Tour.
