WATCH: Messages of support for the Bokke from Caxton Durban

We at Caxton Local Media have a message for our boys in green-and-gold in some of South Africa's official languages.

THIS weekend, the Springboks take on the mighty All-Blacks in a repeat of the 1995 Rugby World Cup final.

This meeting is test number 106 in the 102-year history of what is rugby’s greatest rivalry.

South Africa’s starting line-up boasts a combined 987 caps, and we at Caxton Local Media have a message for our boys in green-and-gold in some of South Africa’s official languages.

According to World Rugby, South Africa’s starting XV boasts a combined 987 caps. The back three of Kolbe (30 caps), Kurt-Lee Arendse (14) and Damian Willemse (38) are the only players in the run-on side that have fewer than 50 caps.

Afrikaans translation (Mariclair Smit): Our blood is green and gold. Boys, Mzanzi is on your side. All jokes aside… This week we are begging you.. Beat the Kiwis quickly, last time, our nerves were shot.

isiZulu translation: (Zama Luthuli): As South Africans we wish the Springboks all the best in the 2023 Rugby World Cup Final. Working together as players and as a nation we can do what we did last time and bring the cup home.
