Two arrested, stolen property recovered in Umgeni Park

The owner of the aluminium sheets was immediately notified of the recovery of the property.

WHILE patrolling the Umgeni Park area recently, Marshall Security armed response officers noticed two individuals carrying white bags filled with pieces of aluminum.

According to Marshall Security spokesperson, Tyron Powell the incident occurred on Sunday around13:30.

“Recognising the potential criminal activity, the officer swiftly interviewed the suspects and established that the aluminum had been stolen from a vacant property on Lothian Road in the Park Hill area. The suspects were apprehended without delay, and the owner was immediately informed of the property’s recovery,” said Powell.

Greenwood Park SAPS were informed and arrived promptly at the scene to transport them to the station for further processing and investigation.
