Armed suspects rob uMdloti home

The suspects are said to have derailed the gate to gain access to the home.

A GROUP of four armed suspects robbed a home on Newsel Road in uMdloti on Tuesday just after midday.

According to Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell, their Special Operations Team (SOT) responded to the incident at about 12:30.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the four suspects derailed a gate to gain entry into the property which was being looked after by house-sitters, whom the suspects held up. During the robbery, the suspects made off with a TV and various household items,” he said.
