uMhlanga student to play solo in concert of British Coronation-inspired music

To honour some of the magnificent music played at King Charles III’s Coronation and similar events over the generations, the British Culture and Heritage Association is hosting an afternoon Coronation Celebration Concert in Greyville, Durban.

KYRAN Taylor, a Reddam House Umhlanga student, is one of the soloists in the Coronation Celebration Concert taking place on Sunday afternoon at the DLI Hall, Greyville, at 14:00.

He will be performing Close Every Door to Me at the Coronation concert – both as a nod to the imminent YPP season but also to London’s West End – home to quality international musicals.

Kyran also plays the title role in Young Performer’s Project’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat coming to the Playhouse in July.
