Men found with housebreaking implements in uMdloti

A supervisor noticed the men acting suspiciously and alerted armed response officers.

THREE men were arrested in uMdloti for being in possession of knives, a pepper spray canister and housebreaking implements.

A supervisor from Marshall Security saw that the men were behaving suspiciously on South Beach Road and called for assistance.

“The armed response team arrived on scene, and while interviewing the three, one of them attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended while trying to get away,” said Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell.

The men were then searched and found in possession of two knives, a pepper spray, and gadgets used to break into houses.

Durban North SAPS arrived and transported the suspects to the police station where they were charged accordingly.
