Jody Taylor, captain of the club, said he and his team members understand that the concept of ‘better self’ may be hard to grasp for some young learners in township schools.

“We are making a contribution to The Domino Foundation’s ECD and Life Skills programmes to help stimulate these children to see a bigger world and the opportunities it holds for them,” he said.

The athletes arrived at the Domino offices in Durban North in two vehicles loaded with stationery, educational games and books to enhance the learning experience of the almost 2 000 children on the programmes.

“We hope that this donation will be a step in helping these learners create their story of success.”
Nicky Waltons, Domino’s education coordinator, thanked the Adidas Runners.
