Durban North SAPS appeal for help in missing persons case

The 26-year-old was last seen in October last year and was allegedly travelling to Pinetown.

DURBAN North police have appealed to the community to help locate Nhlanhla Swartbooi, who was reported missing in November last year.

The 26-year-old, who is a resident in uMhlanga, was last seen on October 31.

Captain Raymond Deokaran, spokesperson for the Durban North SAPS, said Swartbooi also works at a call centre in uMhlanga.

“He was reported missing by his mother who asked his neighbour when they had last seen him. The neighbour said Mr Swartbooi told him he was going to Pinetown on October 31, however, he did not return. His mother then opened a case.”

Deokaran urged members of the public to contact Detective Sergeant Dlamini on 063 833 2606 should they spot him.
