A COLLABORATIVE effort between Marshall Security and Durban North SAPS resulted in the arrest of a suspect allegedly in possession of a stolen vehicle in Durban North on Thursday.

The vehicle, a white Mahindra bakkie, had been reported stolen in Durban Central.

Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell said members of the company’s Special Operations Team (SOT) spotted the vehicle on Umhlanga Rocks Drive at about 14:30.

In a separate incident on the same day, the SOT assisted C Track and Bidtrack ground teams to help recover a hijacked Toyota Hilux taken in KwasMashu.
