Municipal worker gunned down in Avoca Hills
The 54-year-old male municipality worker was found to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
A MUNICIPAL worker has been gunned down in Avoca Hills this evening.
Emer-G-Med Spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said paramedics responded to the scene of a shooting in Ubhejane Crescent in the Avoca area.

“Upon arrival on scene, a 54-year-old male municipality worker was found to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
“The motive for the shooting and the events preceding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation,” said Van Reenen.
