SPCA launches 2023 calendar

The calendars are available at all of the SPCA's charity shops.

PET owners from around Durban had the opportunity to show off their most photogenic snaps at last week’s Durban & Coast SPCA calendars reveal.

The Paws for the Camera competition was hosted by the SPCA with 12 ‘paw’fectly captured photos making the cut at the launch at Fabrica in Sunningdale.

A number of the photos of pets featured in the calendar were taken by local residents.

Marketing manager for the association Tanya Fleischer thanked all those who attended.

“A few of the guests we invited were winners whose pets featured as one of the months of the year. We had so many entries for the Paws for the Camera competition, which was fantastic. They were all so cute and so difficult for the judges to choose from. We have been completely blown away by the exceptional quality of entries this year.

“The calendars are now on sale and are R130 each. I’d like to say a huge thank you to entrants and sponsors for making our 2023 calendar a reality,” she said.

Fleischer said the calendars are available at all of the SPCA’s charity shops in the north Durban area – in Sunningdale, at The Dog Box in Ballito and its premises on Willowfield Crescent in Springfield Park.
