“While actively patrolling, a Blue Security Community Crime Prevention Unit (CCPU) member was flagged down by a street vendor who had her goods stolen. The woman provided a description of the two young suspects, who had walked up to her stall and grabbed stock before fleeing down Queen Nandi Drive. Our members caught both suspects with the stolen items and handed them over to Greenwood Park SAPS,” he said.

Naicker said the CCPU team usually patrols crime hotspot areas and works with various enforcement agencies.
