Durban Fashion Fair shines spotlight on emerging designers

The municipality said the fair was to find new talent and showcase innovative designers.

LOCAL fashion designers were given a platform to showcase their work at last week’s Durban Fashion Fair (DFF).

The four-day showcase held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre revealed that two showcasing designers at the DFF would now supply Edgars Stores.

Enhle Babes Couture, a children’s clothing brand, and the Yastar fashion label founded by New Germany resident Sicelo Dlezi were announced as winners.

The DFF line-up included a make-up and beauty masterclass by Edgars Beauty Academy held over three days which was well attended.
