TRAIL runners have already started entering next year’s Euro Steel Run The River trail runs, which will be staged outside Underberg on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 January 2023.
Using the same successful formula introduced last year, the races will start and finish at the Swartberg Road bridge outside Underberg, with the Run the Rivers routes offering a first day 24km trail and 24km on the second stage.
The Run The Rivers Lite event will consist of a 14km first stage and an 8km second stage.

Living up to it’s name, the race stays close to the uMzimkhulu River that will be hosting the popular N3TC Drak Challenge canoe marathon on the same weekend.
Together with the N3TC Drak Challenge canoe marathon, the Euro Steel Run The Rivers Trails Runs forms part of the Drak Adventure Weekend with the Euro Steel Drak Descent MTB races.
The registration will be at the Olde Duck restaurant on the Drakensberg Gardens road on Friday 27 January.
