Thieves ransack Effingham Heights home

The thieves also stole the copper pipes from the home.

A NUMBER of items were stolen from a Desai Crescent home in Effingham Heights over the course of a week.

This was revealed by Sanveer Sooklall, spokesperson for Swift Private Security on Wednesday.

Sooklall said security officers were called out to the scene after being alerted to the break-in by the homeowners.

“The resident advised that their home had been broken into and ransacked, and multiple items were taken, including their clothing and copper pipes. The incident occurred sometime during the last few days as there was no one at home since last week,” he said.
