Entries open for Fish River Canoe Marathon

The organisers are excited to have people down again in the Klein Karoo for a weekend of paddling and hospitality, and they welcome many participants.

ENTRIES have now opened for this year’s edition of the Fish River Canoe Marathon, which will welcome paddlers back to Cradock for the first time since 2019 on October 7 and 8.

The 40th edition of the Fish River Canoe Marathon is set to be an enthralling encounter as all of the country’s top paddlers go head to head for the race’s spoils and the 2022 SA K1 Marathon Championships crown.

The ever-popular event is again set to draw hundreds of age-grouped and social paddlers to the small Eastern Cape town of Cradock, for another memorable paddling weekend. Many of them will tackle the challenge with two friends or family as part of the annual influx of K3 entries.
