The travel bug bit Nhlanhla Litabe at an early age. While journeying she realised the need for a specialised travel agency; one that would not only assist others with international travel arrangements but also allow her to help and guide people wanting to travel locally. This observation soon led to her establishing Your Pass to Travel, a travel agency situated in the bustling and beautiful suburb of Musgrave, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Even with over 11 years’ experience in the travel industry, and having travelled to over 50 countries, Nhlanhla and her team still get a rush of excitement, just as they did on their own first travel experience, each time they help and guide clients with holiday and travel plans.
“We book flights, hotels, cruises, guided tours, activities, travel insurance, and assist our clients with visas. What influenced us to start our brand is the fact that we identified gaps in the industry, where some travellers still experience difficulties when it comes to their booked trips, and the other influence was the fact that we wanted to be different and show potential clients that travel is doable and accessible, hence our tag line is: ‘Access the World’, no matter your budget,” said Nhlanhla.
In fact, Nhlanhla’s excitement and concern over her clients stretches to her not sleeping until she knows they have returned home safely. She says, her and her team never underestimate any client as today they may book a local flight and tomorrow they could charter an entire plane. “A tip that has served us well at Your Pass to Travel is that we plan a client’s holiday as if we were the ones travelling. This way we know we will not miss a thing and our bookings are done from the heart.”
