Man arrested after business break-in in Briardene

Officers found the suspect in the office.

AN alleged burglar was caught in the act at a business premises in Briardene on Wednesday night.

Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received a call from a client stating that there was a possible break-in in progress at a neighbouring business premises on Marseilles Crescent.

“Armed response officers arrived and found a suspect hiding in one of the offices. He was arrested,” said Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell.

The owners of the business arrived and opened a case at Greenwood Park SAPS.
