GALLERY: North Durban residents show their love for Tafta

Tafta chief financial officer (CFO), Nita Sewpersad said they were blown away by the support shown from all involved.

RESIDENTS showed up in their numbers over the weekend to support the The Association for The Aged (Tafta) Market Day in collaboration with the North Durban Lions Club.

Tafta chief financial officer (CFO), Nita Sewpersad said they were blown away by the support shown from all involved.

“The tremendous commitment from our vendors, volunteers and staff has been instrumental in ensuring the successful hosting of this event. We are touched by the support we have received from the Durban North community and every patron who contributed to impacting the lives of Tafta’s elders with their attendance and participation in today’s activities.

“I would like to say thank you to every individual that played a role in raising funds for Tafta’s Needy Pensioners fund that enables our beneficiaries to access support services, and ensures our purpose of making dignity, growth and meaningful life a realistic prospect for all elders,” she said.
