Saturday, March 26
Heels and Wheels show
Glitz, glamour, heels, wheels, and a lot, lot more. That’s what patrons and participants can expect at the Heels and Wheels event being hosted at Durban’s premier entertainment destination, Suncoast Casino, on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, 27.
The two-day event, at the casino’s car park, will be held under the banner of Heels and Wheels, with the show stopping event, being the International Auto Sound Challenge Association’s (IASCA) Sound Off Event.
Beside the car display, show and shine competition, food stalls, comedy and prizes and giveaways, motor industry experts will be on hand to offer advice. Tickets can be purchased through Quicket and range from R50 – R100.
TAFTA market
Delicious meals, activities, lots to eat and a colour splash are some of the things you can look forward to at the The Association for The Aged (Tafta) Market Day on Saturday, March 26.
The event takes place at the North Durban Lions Club, who are donors of the event from 09:00 to 16:00 and promises to be fun for the entire family.
Funds raised will go towards the Needy Pensioners Fund that assists elders in need.
The cost to enter is R5 per person which gives access to service and product offerings from a wide variety of vendors.
Glenwood Market
A range of items will be on sale at the Glenwood Presbyterian Church market on Saturday, March 26 from 08:00 to 12:00.
The community is invited to browse the stands where they will find crafts, books, preserves, tools, toys and a white elephant table.
There will also be coffee, cakes, pancakes boerewors rolls and hamburgers on sale. The market serves as a fundraiser for Operation Outreach a feeding programme run by the church.

Theatrical delight
Charlotte’s Web takes place from Saturday, March 26 to Sunday, April 3 at the Durban Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre daily at 14:30. There will be morning shows on Saturday, March 26 and April 2 at 11:00 and Sunday April 3 at 11:00.
The Amphitheatre is ideal for picnics and will be open for seating one hour prior to each performance. Audiences are invited to pack their own refreshments, bring their picnic blankets and cushions and arrive early for a fun outdoor picnic-theatre experience.
Ticket prices range in price with R150 for adults and R120 for children U12 and pensioners.

Ramadan Fair
The first ever Ramadan Fair in Overport takes place at The Atrium from March 25 – 28 from 09:00 to 16:00. The fair will showcase exclusive products from local vendors, including fashion, modest wear, jewellery and accessories, shoes, spices, sauces, food, drinks, homeware, décor, and entertainment. There will also be fabulous prizes for shoppers to win. The Atrium is situated on 430 Peter Mokaba Ridge, Overport.
Sunday, March 27
Go Vegan
The KZN Vegan Market is hosting a country vegan market on Sunday, March 27.
The market will be held at 9 Sterkspruit Road, Cliffdale from 10:00 to 14:00.
